“Being a Board member at SOSE is an exciting opportunity and offers something really different, in terms of the breadth and depth of what we do for everyone in the South of Scotland.
“You will be asked to make bold decisions and will play a vital role in the governance and strategic direction of not only SOSE, but now also the South of Scotland as a whole.
“This is your chance to make real change and help inspire the region to unlock the great potential of our people and resources.
“We thank Jeremy for his five years of service to SOSE, and his continued dedication to renewable energy and the South of Scotland.”
Jeremy Sainsbury added:
“One of the reasons I joined the Board of SOSE when it launched five years ago was because I didn’t feel the South had a voice.
“Five years on, the voice of the SOSE is different and I am very proud of what it has achieved.
“Working with our partners, we have really pulled together for the South.
“I would encourage anyone to apply to join the SOSE Board – it is a good thing to do.”
