Chariots of Fire Equestrian Centre’s Video Shortlisted for Award

A video showing the work of the Chariots of Fire Equestrian Centre in Boreland, Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway has been shortlisted for a national award. The four-minute video, which was commissioned to help spread the word about the nonprofit equestrian centre and the benefits to its clients, is among the finalists at this year’s Charity Film Awards.

The Film made the shortlist after a public vote picked the top videos in each category, out of more than 350
entries.

It is brilliant news”, says Liza Pern of Chariots of Fire “and we’re delighted. We commissioned the video to showcase our activities and demonstrate the achievements of the disabled people who learn at our equestrian centre. Hopefully participation in these awards will raise the profile of Chariots of Fire EC and our partner charity Sports Driving Unlimited and the more publicity the video gets, the better.
We’re so pleased to be among the finalists and can’t thank people enough for their support in the public vote. The longer the video is being shown as part of the awards, the more people will become aware of our activities and the services we can offer to those with additional needs” The winners will be decided by a panel of expert judges.

The judges will select 5 finalists in each category from the public shortlist. The winners will be announced at the redcarpet ceremony at a prestigious venue in London.
