Dumfries based Anderson Kilts is a name that is synonymous with kilt and highland dress hire. Now run by Graeme Anderson, the well-known business has been owned and run by the Anderson family for six generations.
Andersons is the largest stockist of highlandwear to hire or buy within the South West of Scotland. They currently stock 10 hire tartans with other tartans available upon request. For 2020 they will be adding a new tartan to their range – the Galloway Heather. This has been designed by and is exclusive to Andersons and will complement the existing Black and Grey Galloway tartans as part of the ‘Galloway Collection’.
Graeme comments – ‘We’re proud of the new Galloway Heather tartan. It adds a fresh contemporary look to the collection and particularly complements our navy and light grey jackets. Galloway Heather will also be available to buy in tartan trews, bow ties and handfasting ribbons’.
Bookings for hire outfits featuring Galloway Heather tartan are being taken now for 2020, and the new tartan can be seen in-store at 5 Church Crescent or at the Coco Bean wedding fayre on Sunday 6th October.
To make room for the Galloway Heather range, Anderson’s famous ex-hire stock 2-day sale launches on Friday 8th November which includes the entire range of Western Isles tartan kilts together with other hire kilts, jackets and accessories at less than half price.
