Co-op Present TV to Castle Douglas Adult Resource Centre

Castle Douglas Co-op recently donated a new 50” television to the Adult Resource Centre (ARC) in Castle Douglas. The television will be used in a variety of media activities by service users and staff.

The ARC also thanked the Co-op for their help during the flooding at New Year, when they provided a wide variety of cleaning materials which were required during the subsequent clear-up.

Councillor Jim Dempster, Chair of Social Work Services Committee said: “This is a very welcome gift from Castle Douglas Co-op. Between this and the support and goods they provided during the severe storms at the beginning of the year they must be commended on their community spirit and generosity towards the local residents in the area.”
