Cottage Break-In near Annan

Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to a cottage near to Outerford Farm, Annan.

The break-in happened sometime between 1550 hours and 1625 hours on Tuesday 3 January 2017. Cash and jewellery with a value of nearly £4000 was taken in the raid. The jewellery included a sapphire and diamond ring, an aqua marine gemstone ring and a gold necklace.

Constable Garry Duguid at Annan said “this break-in happened over a very short time frame of around 45 minutes while the occupier was out of the house. We want to speak to anyone who may have been on the B7020 Lochmaben Road, the B723 Lockerbie Road or the road which links them and runs past Outerford Farm on Tuesday afternoon.
