For the second time in less than a week the team that run the temporary DG One pool at the Dumfries Ice Bowl car park have had to announce temporary closure of pool due to excrement .
A spokes person for DG One Stated on facebook today “It would appear that ’tis the season for unforeseen circumstances and we will be closed for a further 24hrs to decontaminate the water and take the necessary precautions required to ensure our water is of a safe and healthy quality.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents to ensure their kids are encouraged to use the appropriate facilities PRIOR to entering the pool.
We again thank you for your patience and expect to return to normal operation at 7pm tomorrow evening.”
