Castle Douglas and New Galloway and Newton stewart Fire Crews , and the Police and Ambulance service were called out at 11.30 today Friday 31 October 2014 , to attend to a Chemical spillage incident at Dalry School, Castle Douglas.
The Incident happened in a Science Lab cupboard, the Fire crews used Chemical suits, breathing apparatus and spill kit to clear up the Small spillage of nitric acid and acetone
1 male suffered minor chemical burns to forearm and hands and was taken to hospital !
