Police Investigate Theft of Car in Annan

Police Scotland officers in Annan are investigating the theft of a gold coloured Volvo V70 estate car from Drummond Road in the town. The car was taken sometime between 1330 hours on Saturday 2 and 0130 hours on Sunday 3 July 2016. The car was recovered at 0430 hours on Sunday morning after being abandoned in Northgate in Annan. One male and two females were seen to get out of the car and make their way towards Addison Place at this time. The only description available is that one of the females was wearing a black coloured top, light coloured jeans and white shoes. The car was damaged when recovered and may have been involved in a collision.

Constable Richard Davidson at Annan said “we have been carrying out door to door enquiries in both the Drummond Road and Northgate area and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this car at any time on Saturday or Sunday.
