Theft Of Quad Bike – Gretna

Police Scotland is once again warning the public to be on their guard after a quad bike was stolen from a farm between Gretna and Chapelknowe sometime overnight Tuesday 18/Wednesday19 October 2016.  The quad, a red Honda TRX 500 had the registered number SJ12GHD displayed and is valued at around £5000.

Constable Michael Anderson at Gretna said “we are asking again that everyone be on the alert as the darker nights come in and to take the time to pick up the phone and call us if they see or hear anything suspicious.  In this case we want to hear from anyone in the rural area between Gretna and Chapelknowe to call us if they saw or heard anything which might help us catch those responsible.  We have reports of a vehicle, no description, being heard driving past some of the farms and houses in this area in the early hours of Wednesday morning and would be keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help us with further details.”
