Be Part Of The BBC Scotland’s Debate Night Studio Audience In Dumfries

BBC show is set to film in Dumfries – here’s how you can be part of the studio audience

BBC SCOTLAND’S Debate Night TV Programme is looking for people to join its studio audience in Dumfries.

The political discussion programme, similar to Question Time, is the only television programme in Scotland, giving you the opportunity to put questions to the country’s decision-makers and public figures.

The show will be filmed in Dumfries on Wednesday 21 May.

Hosting the show will be journalist and former Dumfries Academy pupil Stephen Jardine.

A spokesperson for BBC Scotland said: “We want people from all walks of life. You might be a parent, a carer or a student? Perhaps you run a business or are a frontline worker? Retired, self-employed, unemployed or just starting out in the workplace – we need you.

Visit www.bbc.co.uk/debatenight and click ‘Apply to the Audience’ if you would like to be part of the Dumfries show.

Previous panellists include TV stars Patrick Grant and Jane McCarry, musicians Ricky Ross and Stuart Murdoch, authors Val McDermid and Alex Gray, as well as well-known politicians and entrepreneurs.

The programme is broadcast on the BBC Scotland channel every Wednesday at 9pm, and again on BBC One Scotland at 10:40pm.
