Meet the Cast
- Talking Head 1: A Lady of Letters
Irene Ruddock dashes off letters with her trusty fountain pen, complaining about the failures of others. But when the police come by, it’s Irene who is in trouble. (Set in the 1980s).

- Talking Head 2: Bed Among the Lentils
Alan Bennett-penned monologue in which Maggie Smith plays the vicar’s wife who finds a vision of God at the local off-licence.
Bed Among the Lentils performed by Rachel Reekie.
The play is directed by Sandy McDougall and Lesley Woodhouse.
