Dumfries Men’s Free Leisurely Guided Short Cycle Rides
August 16 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Friday, happening 5 times
Join trained Sustrans volunteers on a free leisurely guided short cycle ride around the traffic free paths of Dumfries.
These rides are aimed at men who are new to cycling or would like to increase their confidence and skills on their bike.
We are not a club. We are open to anyone interested in finding out more about active travel, bike use, and exploring local routes. There is no commitment to come regularly, just as you feel.
We meet every Friday from 10 – 11:30am outside The Frothy Bike Co in Dumfries and return there after the ride for a coffee and chat.
The rides are all risk assessed and are run at an easy pace to suit the group and led by trained volunteers from the charity Sustrans with always a leader at the front and a back marker at the rear to ensure no one will be left behind.
Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. Join us on our journey: www.sustrans.org.uk.
