The MSS Dumfries & Galloway and Wigtownshire groups are partnering with Positive Steps Physio to provide virtual seated exercise classes
About this Event
Join Erin to ‘get everything moving’ with a 6-week pilot of seated exercise. In this series of six weekly classes you will be guided through a range of movements in the comfort of your own home.
Class format would be:
• All seated
• Warm up – 5 mins
• 5 or 6 exercises of 2 mins long with 1 min rest in between. (moderate intensity)
• 10 mins of cool down/stretches/tai chi.
This is a flexible format and you can work at your own pace.
Attendee’s are required to have a one to one with Erin via zoom prior to attending the online class. This would be to discuss medical history, functional ability etc. I can have look at movement and balance etc. This takes approx. half an hour.
The class will be easy paced and, although we will be sat down, it is designed to get everything moving, leaving you feeling both relaxed and energised!
