Grant Hurcomb, 21, from South west Scotland has spent months practising for a money raising charity event that has never been done in the Northern hemisphere before .
Grant completed a 24 hr shearing marathon. Clipping in two hour stints with half hour breaks inbetween. He clipped 938 sheep to a packed crowd of over 500 people at High Ballyett Farm, Shearing shed Stranraer.
Grant started his marathon task at 9 pm Friday evening and completed the challenge at 9 pm last night ( saturday the 27th of June) .
