Congratulations and good luck wishes have been flooding for Dumfries School lad ‘Niall Rogerson’ who has played football for Lochar Thistle Youths AFC since he was 5 years old, but has now made the big decision to sign with Glasgow Rangers football club.
A Spokesperson for Lochar Thistle told DGWGO Sports news today ” Niall has been with Lochar since the age of 5 and developed into one of if not the best player in our region.
He plays every game with the right attitude, determination and most of all with a smile on his face. He is proof that hard work and dedication do pay off and he will now reap the rewards of both. He is a credit to the club and his family.”
“Everybody at the club would like to wish him all the best in his new venture in his footballing career and are extremely proud of this achievement.”
Lochar Thistle Youths AFC is based at Heathhall, Dumfries and is a large part of the local community assisting many youngsters aged between 6 – 18 years of age with their football training over the years.
