Walking Football Scotland made history on Sat 7th June when they hosted 92 teams, with over 900 players at Glasgow Green. This was the largest ever one day walking football festival in the world!
The recently formed Saint Cuthberts Walking Football over 50s ladies team took everything in their stride playing against some very well drilled sides, including Rangers, Mid Lothian and the eventual winners Braehead.Despite it being walking football the games were fast and furious, the Saints ladies playing well, and most importantly having fun. The tournament was a huge success, great atmosphere, and so friendly. The Saints ladies will be in action again on the 28th June in Ayr.
