Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential maintenance on the A75 near Gatehouse of Fleet at Boreland of Anwoth from Monday 15th November until Saturday 27th November 2021.

This scheme, with a value of £337,000, will benefit around 4,000 vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.

Additionally, overnight convoy working will be in operation on Friday 19th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th November from 7pm to 6am each night, ending at 6am Saturday 27th November 2021.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place when convoy working is not in operation to facilitate cooling of deeper sections of treatment.

A continuous closure of the B796 junction to Gatehouse of Fleet will be in place from 6am Monday 15th November 2021 until 6am Saturday 20th November 2021 – during this time, a local diversion will be in place with access to Gatehouse of Fleet via B727.

Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
