Serco’s Community Benefits Boost For Local Young People

Serco, the facilities management partner for Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, has donated £500 to NHS Dumfries and Galloway’s child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).

Serco has a commitment to make an annual donation to benefit the local community and this years’ is a boost for a much needed service for the young people in our region

Lynn Cuddihy, Clinical Nurse Manager NHS Dumfries and Galloway, said:

“We are delighted that Serco has selected our service as the recipient for their annual community benefits donation.  Child and adolescent mental health services nationally are increasingly in high demand and we welcome this contribution towards providing help and support for the young people in our region.”

Kevin Mackay, Serco’s Contract Manager at DGRI, said:

“It is a pleasure to make this donation to NHS Dumfries and Galloway’s Endowment Fund knowing that our request for the funds to go to CAMHS will be met.  Working at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary the Serco team has become aware of the demand for mental health help and support for many of the region’s young people and we are delighted to be able to support this important work.”
