KEEPING workers safe across the world is the team mission at a busy Annan factory.
Alpha Solway in Queensberry Street manufacture a range of personal protective equipment and clothing.
Amongst the latest visitors to the long-established employer, part of the Globus Group, were Scottish Secretary and local MP David Mundell and Dumfriesshire constituency MSP Oliver Mundell.
The father-and-son political team met with managing director Steven Binnie and chatted with members of the workforce.
David said: “It was good to catch up with Solway Alpha, a valued Annan employer, and learn more about the firm’s plans for the future.”
Oliver added: “Alpha Solway have been in the town for many years and have a reputation for producing quality products made by highly-skilled workers.”
