The owners and staff from Auchenlarie holiday park near Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway are overjoyed after winning two prestigious awards at a star studded ceremony held in Bringham recently.
Five members of the family owned ‘Swalwell Holiday Group’ including owners Marshall & Paul Swalwell recently attended the annual Hoseasons conference and awards ceremony in Birmingham along with over 600 other holiday park owners from all over the country.
Marshall and Paul took to the stage to collect a 20 year partnership excellence award and later in the evening and together with the rest of their team were back on the stage to collect another award this time for their Galloway Cottages which were added to the Swalwell Holiday Group in 2009.
They were shortlisted in the Relax & Explore category for parks and lodges in Scotland and were delighted when they were announce as the winners for showing exceptional quality and outstanding customer service as voted by their customers.
All the awards were presented by TV and radio presenter Vernon Kay ( Pictured with the AHP team) who kept the crowd entertained in his own unique style.
