Cree Valley – Creating a Stronger Community

The Cree Valley Community Action Plan is a plan for the future of the area which will show ambition and creativity to reflect the wants and needs of local people.   

Clifford Smithers, Chairperson of the Community Council says “The Cree Valley Community Council has commissioned research being led by Community Enterprise and funded by CARES to find out the views and priorities of local people, groups, businesses and individuals who work and visit the area”. 
Lynda Johnstone, Community Enterprise “We have been gathering opinion through a community survey, interviews and focus groups so people can tell us what is important you, your family and neighbours for the future of the Cree Valley area”.

The feedback and responses will be grouped into community themes. The people of Cree Valley will be able to comment on and select the top priorities and actions within these themes going forward at an Open Meeting by ZOOM at 7pm on Monday 21st September 2020EVERYONE IS INVITED, please register in advance for this meeting:

As part of the Community Action Plan process, the Cree Valley has been running a creative competition.  There have been some fantastic entries received from both categories, under 16 years and adults.  The winners of the competition will be announced at the open meeting.
