Fertility Network Scotland – New D&G Support Group Launched

Fertility Network Scotland is the national charity for anyone who experiences fertility problems. The charity provides a number of support channels across the country and online to give those affected a chance to get advice, information and emotional understanding whilst receiving peer support from others trying to conceive (TTC).

We are pleased to announce that Fertility Network Scotland has now launched a new free and closed Facebook group in the Dumfries & Galloway region, with the help of 2 local volunteers.

The “Dumfries and Galloway Fertility Group” is available online to anyone TTC who specifically lives in the Dumfries & Galloway region (https://www.facebook.com/groups/FNSDG). This is a private group, meaning that only other members of the group can see any posts. Members can share stories, seek advice and make links with others going through similar experiences in the local area, all in confidence.

We aim to provide much needed support to everyone at all stages of their TTC journeys, whether they are just at the beginning, have been diagnosed with fertility issues or are going through IVF treatment. We understand the widespread impact that infertility can bring to physical, social, emotional and financial health. Feelings of sadness, frustration, anger and isolation can be all too common. This new group is still in its early stages, with numbers growing daily, but already it is bringing members together who are no longer struggling in silence. They now know they are not alone.
