Online support and Workshops Launched

Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway is launching a new programme of online roadshows and workshops.

The charity ran monthly support events for organisations and volunteers across the region before the Coronavirus lockdown and is now kick-starting these again – accessed from the comfort of your own home.

Third sector organisations are beginning to look to the future and what needs to be done to get back up and running, as we continue along the path out of lockdown.

The support and events will be tailored to meet that need and includes advice from staff and invited specialists.

The first event is an all-day roadshow with Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway (TSDG) Engagement Officers and 30-minute slots are available to be booked on Zoom. The first roadshow is next Wednesday July 8 – click here for more: tsdg-online-roadshow-july8.eventbrite.co.uk

The next event, on Thursday July 9 at 2pm, is a seminar for third sector organisations – How to make sure you are covered in a crisis – and will help organisations make preparations to adapt and deliver their service. For more: prepare-for-crisis-july9.eventbrite.co.uk

Next up, on Monday July 13, is an all-day online funding roadshow when organisations will be able to speak in 30-minute slots to TSDG’s Funding Officer. For more on this click here: tsdg-online-funding-roadshow-july13.eventbrite.co.uk

On Thursday July 16 at 2pm, local HR/employment law specialist Sue Stevenson will hold an online workshop – Staffing options during COVID-19 lockdown and recovery – where she will talk through potential staffing options for the weeks and months ahead. This is a limited ticket event – for more: staffing-covid19-recovery-workshop.eventbrite.co.uk
