Annan & District Rotary Club and Powlakes Charity Group have joined forces for an unusual type of sponsored walk to raise funds in aid of Ukraine on Saturday 24th June.
The Powfoot Paw Trek is a sponsored walk for dogs (accompanied by their owners!) where participants choose their own route and distance around Powfoot village and raise funds through sponsorship.
Events will take place on Powfoot Bowling green between 11am and 3pm on 24th June, including the waggiest tail competition at 12 noon and a doggie dance competition at 12.30pm. There will also be a raffle, fun activities and a Books & Bric-a-Brac stall.
