Row4MND is a 4-year endurance mission dedicated to raising vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease — with an ambitious goal of raising £57 million for research to help find a cure.
The challenge is inspired by the stories of Rob Burrow and Doddie Weir, whose courage and determination in the face of MND have moved and motivated so many. The crew are rowing in honour of them, and for everyone affected by this devastating disease.
This year, the crew will complete their biggest test yet: circumnavigating the UK by sea.
On Saturday 14th March, they came ashore at Port Logan beach after an incredible 8 days at sea, rowing from Dale to Dublin and onwards to Port Logan — a remarkable feat of endurance, teamwork, and resilience.
Saturday, the 2nd of May 2026, will see the crew return to Port Logan as they set off once again, facing an arduous 10 days at sea to complete the final leg of this journey. Their destination: Edinburgh, where they will complete their circumnavigation.
Every mile rowed brings them closer to their goal — raising awareness, funding groundbreaking research, and giving hope to those living with MND.
Come along to Port Logan on the 2nd of May at 9am and cheer the crew on as they head out to sea or support the mission and donate here: https://row4mnd.com
