Horses For Help, based in Wigtownshire wanted to let you know their upcoming fantastic news that they have been awarded a sizeable funding grant (official details and amount to be announced soon!) but they wanted to put this to good use immediately and would like to offer festive pony sessions in the run up to Christmas.
A spokesperson stated “This festive session will include a Meet and Greet with some of our ponies, attendees can then groom them before decorating them as well as making some pony treat filled Christmas crackers and the option to decorate a horse shoe!
These sessions will last approximately an hour to an hour and a half and we are able to offer this fantastic session for a subsidised cost of £10 pp for up to 10 people per time, booking in advance.
We work with children, young people and adults to offer social, mental and physical support through sessions with our ponies.
If you are part of a support group or help a support group and would like to come along and see what we can offer this could be an excellent introduction session.
