With funding from the Scottish Government’s Supporting Communities Fund, Aberlour has teamed up with money coach, Eileen Adamson of Your Money Sorted, to help Dumfries and Galloway residents improve their financial situation.
They are offering a series of 5 money workshops designed to help families and individuals struggling with money, to take control of their money. These workshops will be held online, making them easily accessible for many people.
Eileen has experience of working with many clients, helping families and individuals with a range of financial issues. The workshops will focus on assisting those who are experiencing, new financial situations due to being furloughed, reduction of hours and redundancy etc.
Eileen talks about money in an “everyday” way, so the workshops will be relaxed and informal. There will be no financial jargon; just practical and sensible suggestions with tools to help people implement them.
People can choose to attend all five workshops or choose only the ones that suit them best.
Throughout the workshops there will be the opportunity to ask questions and one-to-one support is available afterwards for those who may need a little extra help.
