Come and learn drama skills with award-winning Bunbury Banter Theatre Company practitioners! These exciting Easter 2016 workshops are free and open to all young people in Nithsdale aged between 11 and 18 years.
Workshop dates:
Monday 4th April between 11am and 2pm.
Saturday 9th April between 11am and 2pm.
The Easter 2016 workshops are offered free of charge as an introduction to the drama classes Bunbanter run, as well as their ethos as a company and the kind of work they create professionally. They are aimed at young people in Thornhill, Sanquhar and surrounding areas, and require no prior experience or knowledge.
As they work holistically, the content of the workshops will be tailored to the students but is likely to include drama games, improvisation, performance skills, team building exercises and a bag load of fun! Like all their education work, storytelling and imagination are key to their classes but the sessions are also rooted in technique and focused on developing the students’ confidence and self-esteem, as well as improving their overall performance skills and the many other benefits gained from participating in drama.
Please be advised that there are a limited number of places on both workshops and so places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, although participants are fully welcome to sign up to both.
