Gallery at Laurieston Holds Second Winter Show!

The wonderful Gallery at Laurieston is holding it’s second winter show, Award winning photographer and owner of the gallery Phil McMenemy spoke to ‘DGWGO Arts News’ recently and told us –

I hope everyone is well as we thunder through a tumultuous year and head towards hopefully a loving and fun-filled family Christmas  – and then onto a more peaceful New Year, let 2017 be a grand year!

The gallery has had a very busy year and continues to evolve, develop and improve – as I hope do I! , I am delighted to announce the Gallery at Laurieston: Second Winter Show!
The line-up of artists and makers excites me – a lot!

I am  and proud to announce that I shall be joined here by:
Geoff Forrest – boundary-pusher of willow craft, creating works of glory and great pleasure
Hannah McAndrew and Douglas Fitch –
husband and wife team of quality potters – creators of ceramic joy!
Hazel Campbell –
loose, bold and infectious landscape artist
Amanda Simmons –
contemporary, creative and simply beautiful kiln-formed glass vessels

alongside work from myself.
What a line-up of quality and talent.

The show has Previews on Friday 18th Nov (7-9.30) – and Sunday 20th Nov (10-5)and you are all invited!! So do come peruse if you can, share a hug, taste some wine and nibble some, erm, nibbles with us here.
The show then runs through to Christmas and on into mid February 2017.
Do come visit if you get the chance – you will be welcome  – there will be a great range of works, styles, sizes and prices on display to help with that special gift  for Christmas.

For those in the North of England and South of Scotland ( in fact those of you anywhere and everywhere!) I am also very proud to have work again at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle for their Winter Show – this is such a great venue. You can find my information here. This show commences Friday 11th November with a free drink on arrival and wonderful food on offer too.

I hope the news is well-received – thank you for your time.

Finally, should I not see you  – may I wish you and yours an enjoyable journey through 2016, a wonderful Christmas and a safe & peaceful 2017.

Regards, as always

Phil
