HND ART AND DESIGN END OF YEAR EXHIBITION AT BIRTH PLACE OF PETER PAN

This year’s HND Art & Design students present the culmination of the hard work and efforts over the past 2 years in a 3 day public exhibition to showcase their talent, dedication and skills they have refined throughout the duration of their education within the Dumfries and Galloway community college.

The event will be held this year at Moatbrae house from Friday 3rd of June (invitation only) and will open free for the general public through the weekend, the 4th and 5th, ending on Monday the 6th of June with opening times of 10am-4pm.

This year’s event will display a wide range of skills learned and honed by the students to an exhibition standard. You should expect to see a spectrum of beautiful pieces from the students which include printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, painting, the fabrication of garments, projection and installation, among many more exciting pieces.

Held within the beautifully raw setting of Moatbrae house, the students will display their efforts throughout the entire space provided to them, each room as enthralling as its predecessor. With some students carrying on their creative process out with the setting of education and other progressing to university level, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet said artists throughout the weekend and pick their brains on the subject. Definitely not an event to miss to meet and view the work of exciting emerging local artists.
