The Young Stove’s aim is to create a vibrant, emotive, and completely unapologetic artistic experience, and rare opportunity to see artists at the very start of their journey which we hope will result in future careers in the arts.
The work explores a number of themes, such as, self-reflection, environmentalism, gender issues and body image and includes compositions in a wide range of media and styles including glass work, textiles, portraiture, sculptural and figurative pieces.

“All the pieces featured are very close to our hearts and represent us as fledgling artists beginning to find our creative path and establish ourselves in the local creative scene.”
Emily Cooper – Young Stove member and artist.

Not to Be Sold Separately opens on Friday 11th September, and will feature live performance and spoken word from some of the Young Stove members.
