Tarff Girls Take On RSABI’’s Great Glen Challenge!

This year the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RSABI) is hosting it’s annual Great Glen Challenge on Friday 25th August and four girls from Tarff are delighted to be taking part. RSABI is a unique Scottish charity dedicated to the relief of hardship and poverty amongst people who depend or have depended for their livelihoods on the land.

The challenge consists of 4 disciplines – Kayaking (6km), Mountain Biking (46km) and Running (17km) which will be taken on by Aishling Denny, Eilidh Kennedy and Ailsa Peel from the Dumfries store. Katie Sproat from Ringford will complete the team by undertaking 18km of hill walking. Logistical support will be provided by Katt Maxwell, also from the Dumfries store.

The girls are busy training and hoping their efforts will raise a good sum of money. Anyone wishing to support the girls can do so through our stores or online using the following link.
