£15,000 CARAVAN STOLEN – ANNAN

Police Scotland is investigating the theft of a Bailey Pegasus caravan from the driveway of a house in Northfield Park Gardens in Annan sometime overnight Thursday 9/Friday 10 June 2016.  The caravan, which is valued at around £15,000 was parked in the driveway of the house and was later discovered abandoned on the B722 Annan to Eaglesfield Road near to the junction with the Brydekirk Road junction at Landheads.

Constable Louise Bryden at Annan said “we are keen to trace the driver of a silver coloured Volvo car which was seen pulling a caravan away from Annan on the B722 road at around 0540 hours on the Friday morning. We also want to trace the following described man who was seen at the point where the caravan was abandoned at around 0530 hours.  He is only described as being around 6’2″/6’3″ tall with short dark hair.”  Obviously it was broad daylight when this caravan was travelling on the B722 road and we want to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on this road to get in touch us on 101 if they can help us in this enquiry.”
