16 Official Cases of COVID-19 in Dumfries and Galloway – 22/03/2020

The Latest Government COVID-19 Stats show an increase of official cases of Coronavirus in Dumfries and Galloway to 16 people. There are now 416 cases and 10 people have now died of COVID-19 across Scotland.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) was first identified in December 2019.

The first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland was confirmed in March 2020.

Scottish test numbers: 22 March 2020

A total of 8679 Scottish tests have concluded. Of these:

  • 8263 tests were confirmed negative
  • 416 tests were positive
  • 10 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died
