Police Scotland is appealing for the help of the local community in the Creetown area in an investigation into the theft of a red coloured Honda quad bike. The quad was stolen from farmland about a mile north of Creetown sometime overnight Monday 2/Tuesday 3 April 2018.
The quad is a 250 cc and is valued at around £3000.
Constable Scott Kelly said “we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the Creetown area on Monday or Tuesday. It might be that those responsible have been going about the area looking for the opportunity to steal and we are hopeful that they might have been seen in the area. Callers can contact police at Newton Stewart on the 101 number, and should quote the reference PDG 0068160418.
