£4000 Mini Digger Stolen – Kirkpatrick Fleming

POLICE Officers are appealing for witnesses to a theft which occurred in the Kirkpatrick Fleming area sometime between Saturday 18 and Tuesday 21 August 2018. Sometime over this period a 322 Bobcat mini digger was stolen from a property just off the B6357 road, near the flyover with the A74(M) at Kirkpatrick Fleming. The digger is described as having a black and white coloured cab, expanding tracks, has a ditching bucket attached and is valued at around £4000.

Constable Natalie Wilson said “it appears that the digger has been driven across a field and onto waiting transport on the B6357. We would be interested in hearing from anyone who may have used the road between Kirkpatrick Fleming and Chapelknowe over this period, especially if they say any vehicles which might have been able to transport such a digger in this area. Callers can contact police on the 101 number and should quote the reference 0721 of 21/8.”
