£5000 WORTH OF GOODS TAKEN IN GRETNA SHOPLIFTING SESSION

High value shoplifting – Gretna

Police Scotland officers in Gretna are investigating a theft of nearly £5000 worth of clothing including jumpers, jackets, cashmere and silk stoles, wallets and purses from the Gretna Blacksmiths Shop 1754. The theft happened sometime around 1540 hours on Saturday 19 December 2015 after three people, two males and a female were seen acting suspiciously in the shop. After a stock check the property was discovered missing.

Constable Andy Aitken at Gretna said “we want to trace three people who were in the shop at around 1540 – 1600 hours on Saturday 19 December 2015. They are described as (1) Male, white, late 20s/early 30s, medium build, short brown hair wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms. (2) Male, white, 5’5″ tall, late 40s/early 50s, slim build, wearing a dark bobble hat and a long black jacket. (3) Female, white, 5’5” tall, late 30s, medium build, wearing a cream puffa jacket and cream bobble hat and had a Glasgow accent. Anyone who can help identify these people, or who may have any information which may help to identify then is asked to call police at Gretna on 101.
