Road Policing officers in Dumfries and Galloway have recovered cannabis with an estimated street value of £80,000, during a routine patrol on Saturday, 13 August, 2022.
Around 6.15pm, officers stopped a blue Vauxhall Meriva for a routine check on the A74 (M) northbound near junction 19, Ecclefechan.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Graeme Robertson, of Dumfries CID, said: “Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
