Annan Youth Platform Members Put Kettle On Charity

Members of Annan Youth Platform are holding a coffee morning in Victoria Halls Annan, between 11am.and 1pm on Saturday 9 April.

The group have organised a baking stall, tombola, raffle, guess the name of the Rabbit and a Treasure Map.  Entry will cost £1 for adults. Children will have free entry.

The group have written to local business and shops to ask for help for items for their raffle and tombola and have been donated a brand new cooker which will be sold for £5 per ticket.

All monies made from the coffee morning will go to the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity.

Councillor Tom McAughtrie, who is Chairman of the Council’s Community and Customer Services Committee commented;

“It is very pleasing to see the Annan Youth Platform members organising an event to bring together members of the community to support such a worthwhile charity as MacMillan Cancer Support, I wish the group well with the fundraiser.”
