44 year old Angela Amos, lives in Dumfries and Works at Murrays Chemist in the town . Angela has done quite a few things before to raise money for charity, including running the Glasgow half marathon and Sober October for Macmillan also earlier this year she took part in The Glasow Kilt Walk , walking 26 miles to raise money for Childrens Hospice Association Scotland.
But when she came across an advert on facebook for ‘Brave The Shave’ the intrepid fundraiser decided that it was something she would like to do.
Angela told DGWGO “I am doing it because cancer affects everyone we know and love in one way or another. I have friends who have undergone treatment and family memebers who have died from this terrible disease.”
Angela will be getting the shave on 26th July at her work. Her husband Garry is ( is a lorry driver not a hairdresser) is going to shave her head.
