Hetland Garden Centre are releasing the first in a new and blossoming series calling Budding Gardeners! This series will be a whole flowerbed full of helpful advice and tips for Mums and Dads wanting to encourage their little seedlings to find an interest in gardening!
Hetland Garden Centre wants to emphasise the importance of caring for the environment. Owner David Wilson has started this campaign to inspire children to discover the love and respect for nature to bloom as the next generation of Budding Gardeners. He believes it is important that children understand the significance of looking after and understanding the environment around you like growing your vegetables. So, the series has been put together to help Mums and Dads get their children out in the garden.
There will be a getting started tips like which are the easiest plants to look after, how to keep your kids interested in their garden, and much much more!
Maybe you’ve never found an interest in gardening yourself? Well with Hetland’s help this could be your new favourite activity to enjoy with the children. It doesn’t have to be boring, the aim of the series is to show just how much fun can be had out in the garden!
David understands that everything starts with a seed. He knows that once you start enjoying being in the garden together with your children, they see the beauty that nature can produce (and how tasty it can be!), you’ll find it hard to take the trowel away!
