Knit a square @ Blue Moon, Langholm
Could you knit or crochet a square 18 x 18 cm ( 7” x 7”) ? We are looking for knitters and crocheters who could help us to make warm blankets to give to Langholm Refugee Action for distribution.
Just come along to Blue Moon and get busy, we can provide wool and needles, and tons of motivation! Even if you can’t knit or crochet, we can teach you.
These squares were knitted by 3 ladies who had not picked up knitting needles in years! Knitting squares is bringing our community together to help those without a community.
We are open from 10am-4.30 Monday to Friday and 10am- 3pm Saturday.
