Police Scotland officers in Annan are investigating a break-in to a house in Fairfield Place in the town. The break-in happened sometime between 0900 hours and 2130 hours on Wednesday 5 July 2017 whilst the householder was out. A three figures sum of cash was taken in the raid.
Constable Andrew Broomfield at Annan said “was want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in or around the Fairfield Place area of Annan on Wednesday. Fairfield Place sits just off the busy High Street so it might be that someone has seen something which might help us catch those responsible. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at Annan on the 101 umber.
