£1400 Worth Of Cashmere Clothing Stolen From Moffat Tweed Shop

Police in Moffat are investigating the theft of cashmere jumpers and scarves to the value of £1400 which happened sometime between 1300 hours and 1400 hours on Sunday 3 December 2017 at the premises of the Moffat tweed shop in the town’s High Street. At this stage there is no description of anyone involved in this theft.

Constable David Noble said “we are asking anyone who was in Moffat on Sunday to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the High Street. The property taken is high value cashmere goods and it looks like the thieves knew what they were after. Anyone with any information should give us a call on the 101 number quoting reference number PDG 0277841217.
