NHS Dumfries and Galloway has confirmed this morning that Dumfries and Galloway is still officially coronavirus free – after the Government issued information yesterday stating a case had been detected in the region.
A Health Spokesperson from Dumfries and Galloway NHS Told DGWGO News “An initial test had pointed towards being positive, but was not conclusive.
This prompted a retest which stated definitively that this was not a case of COVID-19.
Whilst it is inevitable that we will see COVID-19 cases in the near future, we have no confirmed positive results at the present time.”
