Crocketford Gala Cancelled Due To Rain

CROCKETFORD GALA CANCELLED — The Tents going up at Crocketford Gala earlier this week.

The 2019 Crocketford Gala wich was due to be held tomorrow Sunday the 11th of August 2019 has been cancelled.

Organisers of the highly popular communit event stated earlier today “It is with very hearts that we’ve had to make the decision to cancel this years (2019) Crocketford Gala.

The fields used tomorrow are already very wet for vehicles and the forecast for tomorrow is for heavy rain. We must look at the health and safety of exhibitors and visitors and for this reason, we have made the decision to cancel.

We’ve also had a number of acts/businesses saying that they cannot attend due to weather (which we understand) and we don’t want people to be disappointed that the gala is not up to its usual standard!

We would like to thank all of our supporters and hope to see you all next year on a much dryer and sunnier day!
