Just after 1000 hours on Thursday 14 July 2016 the victim was sitting in his Ford Mondeo car waiting on his wife returning when a female opened the passenger door, entered the car and engaged him in conversation about directions to another part of Scotland. We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been around the Queensberry Street area, or in the town centre in general around 1000 hours yesterday to get in touch if they saw this female. Caller can speak to us on the 101 number.”
