Dumfries & Galloway College To Pause Face To Face Teaching

Dumfries and Galloway college has announced that as from tomorrow they will pause all Face to face classes and will close their campus’s down to all external visitors due to current the COVID-19 Crisis.

A spokesperson for the college has stated “As of close of business on Tuesday 17th March 2020, we will be pausing face to face teaching in order to protect our staff and students.
While there are no reported cases in our region, we are taking the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously and following UK Government and Scottish Government advice with these measures.
We will still be delivering teaching online where possible.

External visitors will not be allowed on campus and we have cancelled all events as of today.
Students are not required to attend our Dumfries or Stranraer campuses. With these precautionary measures in place, we encourage our entire college community to follow official advice and follow our communications for the most up to date information.”
