4 YEAR OLD DUMFRIES BOY WINS TOYOTA UK DRAW A DREAM CAR COMPETITION

 4 year old Dominik Czopek a pupil at Laurieknowe nursery, Dumfries,  has  won a competition ran by car company ‘Toyota’ to draw his dream car, which is one of the largest global art contests for children and is now in it’s 10th year. There are more than 800,000 submissions to the competition world wide,

 

Dominik sumitted his drawing a few months ago in the competition  to draw a futuristic car and describe it. Last week his mum received a phone call from Toyota with an invitation to the award ceremony in Epsom, Surrey as Dominik’s drawing had made it into the final 3.

 

The ceremony took place today (19/02/2016) and it was announced that Dominik has won 1st prize in the  UK ! He

The next stage of the competition is international. The winners from each country will battle it out to win the best drawing in the world, the winner will be announced in August resulting in the first prize of a trip to Japan!
