According to a new GO Outdoors study, Dumfries and Galloway is the second best place for camping in Scotland.
The study took into consideration factors such as price, pet friendliness and internet access.
The average cost of a small tent for two adults is £20 per night, which is cheaper than most locations on the top 10 list.
Additionally, 95% of campsites are pet-friendly, making it a perfect family getaway this summer.
